This program offers young people the opportunity gain valuable employability skills like CV writing, Interview Techniques and Job Hunting while also learning about esports and taking part in esports activities.
Esports for Employability takes place one day per week for 2.5 hours over 4 weeks with the first instance starting on 26th January.
The program will run continuously until summer so there will be plenty of opportunities for those who miss the first intake to get involved.
Taking place at our esports lab based in our office on Wishaw Main Street. Schools will be responsible for ensuring safe transport to and from the venue.
The program is aimed at senior (S4+) secondary school pupils based in North Lanarkshire.
Learn about what makes a strong CV, how to identify skills, strengths and weaknesses.
Participants will build their CV with our support.
Discover confidence building interview techniques and learn to promote your best qualities.
Take part in mock interviews.
Gain an understanding of the best resources for finding work, learn to implement a job search schedule.
Conduct real time job searches with support.
Experince esports first hand, learn about the industry and how participation in esports and esports related activities can support employability.
