Social Media / IT assistant Volunteer ROle

Duties of this role include: 

• Help develop strategies and tactics to grow, engage, & retain followers
• Help convert followers to members, service users, donors, & customers of the Wishaw YMCA.  
• Help shape the future of the Wishaw YMCA through media and web content 
• Work as part of the Social Media Team that acts to realise the Wishaw YMCA board's vision through social networking platforms and the website
• Website maintenance and updates 
• Social media posts 

Requirements:  

• Volunteers would be expected to commit to a minimum of 3-4 hours per fortnight for at least 12 months.
• IT literate
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Team player 
• 
  

This is a challenging but rewarding role.  You will have the chance to share your talents, develop new skills, and have fun while helping the community.  We will offer training to support you in the role.
